Year I started playing pickleball: 2022

Who is your pickleball mentor: The whole San Diego pickleball community with special thanks to John Riedy. Thank you all!

Do you have a pickleball coach: No coach. I’ve had the good fortune of getting some pointers from Austin Sveom at The Hub and the legend, Ralph Acosta.

How you got into pickleball: My sister and brother-in-law first convinced me to play on the street in front of their house during a 4th of July BBQ. No one knew the rules and I definitely wore the wrong shoes.

College Sports: I enjoy watching them. LOL. I played high school tennis and baseball.

Famous person you want to play pickleball with: Bruce Lee. I like a partner with fast hands.

Pickleball accomplishments: Being a Scorpion!!!!!

What are you most looking forward to this year: The competition and camaraderie. It’s a lifelong dream to be a professional athlete and doing so with the Scorpions and in the NPL is an honor and privilege!
