Most influential people in your life: Losing both my daughter and my dad completely changed my perspective on life. Their love, strength, and the memories I carry with me continue to inspire me every day. After everything I’ve been through, I’ve learned that life is short and meant to be lived fully. I try to bring that mindset into everything I do — competing, traveling, giving back, and simply enjoying the little moments.

Year started playing pickleball: 2023

How you got into pickleball: Pickleball became my outlet during one of the hardest times in my life. I always say pickleball saved my life because when I stepped onto the court, it was the only thing that allowed my mind to focus on something other than grief and everything else going on around me. The sport gave me purpose again, introduced me to an incredible community, and helped me slowly rediscover joy, confidence, and competition.

Famous person you want to play pickleball with: Steffi Graf 

Pickleball accomplishments: Winning gold medals in women’s and mixed pro NAPP League competition, earning 5.0+ singles gold medals, getting drafted into MLPA, and having opportunities to compete internationally and represent myself overseas have all been huge accomplishments for me. I’m especially proud of how quickly I’ve grown in the sport in such a short amount of time.

What are you looking forward to most this year: I’m looking forward to continuing to compete at a high level, traveling, meeting new people through the sport, and creating unforgettable memories with my team throughout the season. Most importantly, I just want to have fun, stay healthy, keep improving, and enjoy every opportunity this sport continues to bring into my life.
